Facebook Messenger Data Deletion

This page confirms the status of a data deletion request sent to ChatME through Facebook.

What is deleted

When you remove ChatME from your Facebook account (Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove) or request deletion of your data, Meta notifies us and we delete immediately and permanently:

• The Facebook Page connection you authorised, including its access token.
• All Messenger conversations between that Page and the assistant, including operational copies.
• Bookings made from those conversations are anonymised: the business keeps the slot in its calendar, not your details.

We keep no copy of this data after deletion. Technical delivery logs (which do not contain your message content) are deleted automatically within 14 days.

If you messaged a Page as a customer

Facebook identifies the person requesting deletion as an app user, not as the sender of a specific chat, so we cannot locate your customer conversation from that request. If you messaged a business's Page and want that thread erased, write to info@chatme.es with the Page and approximate date and we will erase it within 30 days. You can also ask the business, which can erase it from its dashboard.

Your confirmation code

If you arrived here from Facebook, the address includes a code parameter identifying your request. Quote it if you need to write to us.
